Update and announcements

Hello,

I've been working on some projects for the last few days. I was using my design studio to create a really cool scrapbook layout. I was creating the layout to enter in a competition. I was ready with the cut files and had all the paper ready to cut when my computer decided to catch a VIRUS.... and CRASH. OMG I almost had a heart attack after all my hard work and 6 days of work and a day before my deadline I was devasted.

Not only did I lose my entire scrapbook layout. I lost all my files for DS and there for lost all my cut files. I must now begin to redo all my cut files. I have been without a working computer for a fews days and I have a flip book due on Thursday so I am stressed. I finally got a computer and have been in the process of getting ready to work. So I hope to have something to show soon. I have so many projects in the works. Soon I will be posting all kinds of goodies.

I have a few noah's ark party favors I am doing for a babyshower next week. I also have a special order for an entire scrapbook family album.

I am also busy planning a babyshower and will take you guys with me step by step as I plan and prepare for the shower. I will be doing everything from Invites, party favors, candy table setup, decorations and even some of my edible specialties. So I can't wait.

Also saturday is my birthday I would like to giveaway a special Birthday Gift.
I need 50 followers for the giveaway and all you need to do is leave a comment on the bottom of this post telling me what would be the best birthday gift you have received!!

Note Card Set

Hello,

Today I wanted to share with you a set of note cards I created as a Birthday Gift. I love note cards and journals and before I started creating note cards, I would spend so much money buying them. So when the opportunity came to make these note cards I was so excited. I knew that the person receiving them would appreciate them as much as me.

The set is 5 note cards and envelopes plus a matching birthday card. I cut these cards so they would fit in special pre-cut vellum envelopes. I added some sentiments to the cards using my cricut and made sure to include a blank note card. Again I incorporated the trifold card which is one of my favortie cards to make. I really love how they turned out and can't wait to make my next set!!!!

Hope you enjoy!!!!

Craft Shoutout

Hello,
Happy Friday... I hope everyone has a wonderful Father's day weekend... I wanted to take a minute and just give a shoutout to some amazing crafters. Crafting is more than just a work of art is also a labor of love. It's something we create thinking of someone special and how what we do is going to make them feel. This week I made a book for a co-worker for her husband as part of a Father's Day gift from there daughter. When I was working on this book I was thinking about how I wanted this Father to feel when he received this book. I poured everything into this book and I amazed myself when it was done. I brought in the book this morning it was so awesome to see the look on her face when she thought about how much her husband would love this book. So these are the reasons why I do what I do because I know it brings happiness and joy to someone.

Ok no more sappy now on to the shoutouts. Here are some of the crafters that inspire me with there amazing creativty.

Explosion Birthday Card

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I have been gone for so long. But I have been really busy and have had no time to update or scrap. I have been working about 65 hours a week getting home around midnight or 1am for the last few days. It's been a crazy few weeks for me.

I wanted to share a birthday card I manage to fit into my crazy schedule for my special friend and DT member. I made this card the day before his birthday. I wanted to make a cool and unique card that represented him. So I got this idea to make an explosion card with a pop up in the middle. I can't remeber the name of the blog I saw this on but I will look for it and make sure to mention in my next post. I got everyone to sign the card and filled it up with White Chocolate Truffles so when he opened it there was an explosion of candy.

Hope you enjoy!!!

PS: I am back to scrapping and have so many things to share so stay tuned there be lots more!!!1
