Crazy, Productive, Busy Weekend.. A look ahead!!!

Good Morning,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

As for me I had a very CRAZY weekend preppping for an upcoming party and remodeling. This weekend I decided I finally needed a space to call my own. I didin't really have a space for all my party and scrap things. For the past year I have been scrapping and creating on my dining table and all my stuff has been in a closet under my stairs. It was very annoying and uncomfortable to have to go into the closet (2x3) and try and get all my things in order, then have to craft on my table and put everything back. So for a year I wasn't really being as creative or coming up with anything clever, I was pretty much doing what I had to and filling orders.

To make matters worse I had nowhere to really house all my party stuff (vases, centerpieces, inspiration boards etc...) so it was pretty much everywhere. Then a few months ago my company offered a garage sale to sell of props they use for photoshoots. And I bought so many things when I brought them home I had nowhere to put them so they sat in boxes. My sitting/computer area was overcrowed with boxes not only from the garage sale but also from the holidays (halloween/christmas). I was at the verge of a nervous breakdown having my house a mess and being creativly blocked was making me crazy.

And so I decided to put an end to all my troubles. I have been surfing the blogging world for inspiration for a party/scrap area. I took my binder this weekend of all the rooms I love and started building my dream studio. I spent the weekend at Ikea and Michaels getting all my stuff to put togther my room. It took 48 hours to dismantle, build, clean and organize but I finally got it done. The room is still not completely ready as the walls are still bear and I am missing some shelves. But I am happy with the progress I have made so far and I am now ready to start creating.

It's funny how when the room was finished last night and I sat back all of my creative jusices started to flow. I have so many ideas I can finally accomplish and couldn't be happier.

Pictures of my scraproom makeover will be posted this week and I will give you guys tips on how to get a room created on a tight budget. (I created my room with less than $200.00).

In closing I wanted to inform you guys that I have alot of upcoming projects, ideas and series I am working on. I will be very busy the rest of the week getting ready for a Sweet 15's I will be attending and also doing the party favors. I will be posting lots of pictures this week so stay tuned.

Cupcakes, Cupcakes I love Cupcakes

Hello,

Hope everyone had an amazing Valentine.
I had a nice evening even though I have a house full of sick kiddies.

Ok so I am not sure if I have mentioned that I love cupcakes. Well I do love cupcakes! My favorite cupcakes are of course Magnolia cupcakes. I love Magnolia's Vanilla & Red Velvet Cupcakes they are just divine.

This weekend I had a craving for cupcakes and while surfing the net came across a recipe for Magnolia's Vanilla Cupcakes & Vanilla ButterCream Frosting (courtesy of the HWTM and Kristine Shin Designs). I cannot describe the excitement I felt when I found this recipe it was my awe moment!!!

So I decided I was going to try and make these cupcakes, I followed the recipe and was on my way to cupcake heaven...
I am still on a huge sugar rush from all the cupcakes I had this weekend but it was all worth it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!! I had a nice weekend relaxing and baking more of that in my other post.

Today I just wanted to repost this Dessert Table I styled for when I was starting my business. This was definitely a table of firsts. It was the first time I had styled a table for a photo shoot, first time I did marshmallow pops, pretzel sticks and cake pops. I remember working on the details for this table and when that day arrived it was even better than I had imagined. This was the day I fell in LOVE with this business!

Sweet 15's Inspiration

She wanted a dessert table for her birthday party. So we are going to make her wish come true and create a dessert table. While the two tables I have choosen are so different they are both unique to my inspiration. I want to create a table that is gorgeous but at the same time simple and minamalist. I am not sure if I will be able to acheive simple and minamlist as I always want to continue to add, add, add LOL.

GOOD MORNING,

In case you haven't noticed I am super excited today! This morning was one of the best mornings. I usually am pretty good about checking my blog and emails but yesterday I wasn't feeling to good when I got home from work (migraine). So I had no idea what was going on as it turns out I was getting love from some amazing party peeps and didn't even know. Much to my suprise when I woke up this morning I decided to check my emails and OMG was it amazing. There was so many comments and tons of followers.

You guys sent so much love my way I couldn't contain myself I was literally crying this morning. I never in a million years would have thought this could happen to me but it did and I am so thankful. It is a great feeling to know that you guys have welcomed me with open arms and hearts into your world. I am so grateful and humbled my the good wishes and bloggy love that came my way yesterday. There are no words to really express how good I feel today to be among the most amazing women in the party, crafting world.

I can't say this enough THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

A new and improved blog

Hello,

I wanted to inform my 2 followers LOL that there will be some changes coming soon to AIH.
I am working on a couple of ideas and can't wait to bring them to you guys. There are so many exciting things happening right now and I can't wait. Here is a little hint... A sort of webshow is coming to AIH in the coming weeks. I also had some exciting things happen this week and I cannot wait to share. So I hope to be posting more information in the next few days.
