Pinkalicious Birthday Blog Hop

Hello,

I would like to welcome you all to my blog and My Pinkalicious Birthday Celebration Blog Hop!!!! My official birthday was July 3rd but since it was a holiday we had to wait to do the hop. I would like to thank all the wonderful, talented crafty gals who are participating in this hop and taking the to celebrate with me!!! This is hop is going to be full of lots of inspiration and some rocking projects. So please take the time to visit all the blogs and show the gals some bloggy love!!! So if you are here to hop or just stopping by please stay a while and enjoy the celebration :) The theme of this hop was create something using my favorite color combination Pink, Black & White....

Here is my project:

I decided to do an entire gift set for this hop using the same color palette and design throughout. I used Birthday bash to create the present boxes on the front of the card. I used the same paper from the present boxes to wrap the candle and make the box. I created the favor box using tags, bags boxes and more, I then wrapped the box in the same paper as the candle and added the flowers and matching ribbon to tie the entire gift set togther.

Blog Candy!!!

Since it is my birthday hop and some many of you gals came out to celebrate. And since my birthday is the 3rd and I am in my 3rd decade of life and have 3 boys. I have decided that instead of giving away one blog candy I will be giving away 3!!!!!.

Pinkalicious Blog Hop and Update

Hello my bloggy friends.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend!

Sorry I have been MIA but as you all know I have been having some major issues settling into my new place. And to make matters worse my computer had some issues this week so I had to get it repaired UGH!!! I am happy to report though that there has been some changes this week. I finally have a somewhat settled house all the major renovations have been finished YEAH!!! Most of the unpacking and organizing have been done with the exception of my craft/office which is this weekends project :( There are still some minor issues like the replacement of my closet doors which are not working properly LOl. Other than that life is slowly getting back to normal.

Ok so now that life is not as hectic I can finally get back to my routine.
I have a few things lined up which I can't wait to start sharing. I am really backed up so Tamara your package will be shipping this week :).

And now for those who don't know my Birthday is this Sunday and as a way to celebrate I will be hosting my very first PINKALICIOUS BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP next weeked July 9th. The hop begins at 7AM and will end at midnight. We have an amazing lineup of very talented and amazing crafty gals, it will be a huge celebration filled with lots of inspiration and blog candy. Moving Disaster!!!!!

Hello,

I wanted to do a quick post to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about you guys. Its just been a crazy few weeks for me. I have been in the process of moving for about 3 weeks now and I am not happy.

Yesterday was my first week at the new place and its still not ready. There has been a few diasters to contend with and some remodeling that has not been finished UGH. I still haven't been able to unpack anything. I am living out of a duffle bag LOL and dinner is fast food everyday not happy. To make matters worse our toilets haven't been working correctly since we moved finally yesterday they fixed the problem. Also we have no cable or internet access and I am seriously having withdrawls I haven't seen decent TV in about 2 weeks. And if those things aren't bad enough the movers broke my brand new desk :( I am so upset because its not fixable. So as you can see it hasn't been the best week for me.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel the cable guy is coming today so I hope to be able to watch some TV tonight. Also they should be finishing the installation of the new bathroom vanity this weekend. Also today I am going to begin the unpacking process and hope to have my home as livable as possible before the end of the weekend. Wish me luck!!!!

Sometimes we must take a step back!!!

Hello,

I hope you all had an amazing holiday!!! I didn't do much as I was packing all weekend long. And to make matters worse I was suppose to move on Monday but we had to postpone the move to Friday, due to the new place not being ready.

Today I am sharing a personal note about the steps we take in life in most cases we take steps forward. This year I have had to take a step back and I am having such a hard time.

Two years ago I decided to take a giant step forward and I rented a beautiful townhouse. After living in apartments my whole life. It was spacious, beautiful and the biggest place I have had in a while. To be honest when I moved here I was so happy that I finally sprung forward. Fast forward to 2 years later and I had to take a step back and give up the beautiful townhouse. It's been the hardest decision to make because I am now going to back to an apartment which is making me really sad. Why you ask? well it's sounds so logical but I still can't wrap my head around it and convince myself its the best move.

There are so many factors that have contributed to this decision I would need more than one post to list them all. But in a nutshell my personal life, my finances, my kids and time where the main reason I took the step. Living in this beautiful house was more a sacrifice than a anything else. The only thing I had was the space and the fact that I could have a craft room something I had been wanting for a while but couldn't do even after building the room. I sacrificed a lot in the past two years and missed out a lot on the kids, today I am taking a step back in the hopes to make that giant move forward. Its a decision that has weighed heavily in my heart for the past few days and one that has caused lots of anxiety in my person.

I am sad not to leave the old place per say because at some point we all need to move on but more because I didn't accomplish moving forward in more ways then one. And I feel I have let everyone down including myself and my family. As of Friday I will be living in my new smaller apartment and I am hoping to grow to love it as much as I did my old place. I hope to finally find the peace I have been looking for and the time I have lost. In the end I pray that taking this step back will help me grow as a person, mother, friend and blogger. And I will finally be able to accomplish everything on my to do list. While this new place will not offer the home/house I have envisioned for myself and my family. It will most definitely make my life a little easier than before and will allow me more TIME for the things that are most important in life my boys and my family. So in closing sometimes we must take a step back in order to take a step forward.

I may not be posting as much as before because I am moving and trying to adjust to the new place. But when I do come back I am hoping it will be a much more peaceful and relaxed me with lots of projects. I do have a few giveaways coming up and a new series I want to do on the blog.

I Love My Boys!!!

I hope everyone had an amazing Mother's day and a great week.

Today I wanted to do a quick post and show you guys why I love my boys so much they are the best!!!!

This was my Mother's Day Surprise! The prepared my morning coffee with a cupcake and all my gifts not to mention I had made a bunch of Mother's day cards and had extras they had to choose one and they choose my favorite card of all!

Super Busy Mother's Day Week Ahead!

I hope you all had a great weekend! YIPPE I have a 101 followers Thanks for following me I will be posting the giveaway this weekend!!!!

After the crazy weeks I had this weekend seemed to short. This weekend was a pampering weekend hair, nails, eyebrows today I feel fresh and brand new. I watched a few movies, did some light house cleaning and laundry. I also got a head start on some of my Mother's day project. Thanks to my long weeks at work I haven't had anytime get all my Mother's day projects togther.

This week is going to be absolutely crazy prepping for Mother's Day! I have so many orders to fill. First I have about 100+ Marshamllow pops wrapped with tags that need to be ready for a school breakfast on Thrusday evening. I also have to make another 40 Marshamallow pops and 40 pretzel sticks for a babyshower on Saturday and a Mother's Day lunch on Sunday. Then I have a few orders for cupcakes all for Sunday. Not to mention I have to get all the cupcakes ready for my family and all the Mother's day cards completed for my family.

I still have a few giveaways that I have to work on this week and next week. I am also working on a few inspirational party photoshoots that will feature different dessert tables, centerpieces etc....
