Everything Fall (day 21) Treat Bags for Halloween

Hello,

Every year I host a halloween party and I set up a candy table and do all kinds of fun stuff. But when its time to hand out candy around my house its usually a bowl and grab waht you can. I always loved when my kids where little and they came home with cute little treat bags that some mommy made for the class. Well my kids are already at the age where they don't want cutesy treat bags to take to school. My youngest is already in 5th grade so it makes me sad not to have little ones to spoil with treat bags. But no fear this year my building is hosting a Halloween party for the kids in the building and so I am going to get my treat bag fix. I am going to be creating cute treat bags to hand out to all the kids at the party.

With that said I am working on some treat bags now but I wanted to share with you guys some other amazing treat bags.

Everything Fall (day 20) Caramel Apples

Hello,

Today we are talking Caramel Apples these treats mainly found in Carnivals/Fairs, have become a fall food treat. Last year I made caramel apples for my co-workers and I must say they love them to pieces. They are so easy to do and can be covered in pretty much any kind of chocolate and topping you like. They are also great for Halloween Parties as they look amazing on any table.

This year i want to make more for caramel apples for my friends but I want to try and make mini apples.

Here is a look as some awesome lookin caramel apples.

Everything Fall (day 18) Candy Jar (Guest Blogger)

Hello,

I finally caught up YEAH!!!

Today I wanted to share with you guys a super cute project from my wonderful bloggy friend  Giselle from Cross my heart papercrafts. She is a wonderful crafter and I love love all her stuff. I am so glad she decided to be a guest designer for me today because her project is adorable.

I know you always wonder where are you going to keep all that candy you get from Trick or Treating.

Here is what Giselle created: Recipe below

I used Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art for the base and shadow, cut about 4.25 inches tall. I also used Happy Hauntings for the poison die cut and added some glitter to give the white cardstock some sparkle :) Thanks for having me!

Isn't his candy jar super cute :)

Thank you Giselle!!!!!

Everything Fall (day 15) The look of Fall

Hello,

As we continue our 31 days of Everything Fall series I want to share with you the look of fall. During the month of October houses take on a whole different look. They are decorated with pumpkins and all things fall and halloween. Now I live in an apartment so decorating outdoors is out of the question but I still do love the decor.

But here is what I wish my house could look like!

31 Days of Everything Fall (day 14) Glittered Skeletons

Hello,

I heart Halloween decorations and I love getting my house all spooky for the month. This year I haven't had much time to fully decorate. But I still managed to do a little decorating. As I mentioned in my last post I love mantels. But since I have no mantels I used the top of my Expedit Ikea shelf to create a makeshift mantel.

I used my what was already on the shelf and just added some little things. I used some dollar store glitter skeletons and a few other decorations to create my mantel.

31 Days Everything Fall (Day 13) Halloween Inspired Mantels

Photo Credit: Organize your Stuff Now
Hi,

Living in Miami mantels/fireplaces are not something you see often or much at all considering winter last about 2 days LOL. So the chances of you walking into a Miami home and finding a Mantel Fireplace is as slim as the Dolphins making it to the superbowl (no offense to DolFans I am one). Now with that said I love mantels they are beautiful and when decorated they are the centerpiece of your home. Mantels are great because they can be changed and decorated for a holiday with only switching out the decor. Christmas is the holiday when the mantels take center stage they house the stockings and all the glitz and glamour of the holiday. Halloween is another great holiday for decorating your mantel and giving it a spooky kinda feel.

And if you are like me and don't have a mantel to decorate just use the ideas and decorate the top of a book shelf (like the Expedit from Ikea)

There are so many cute ways to decorate a mantel and here are a few:

31 Days Everything Fall (Day 12) Halloween Branches (Tree)

Hi,

When we think of branches we think of the trees outside and those pesky branches that fall and create a mess in the yard. Not today branches have literally branched there way to the top of the design world.

Branches are being used in most all home, seasonal and even party decor. They are used to create amazing centerpieces for weddings, baby showers, sweet 16's and any many other events. They have also become a part of home designs resting in your living rooms floors in beautiful vases. And of course during the holidays. Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite trees decorated for halloween.

Horchow Trees
These are my favorite but I am totally loving the Martha Stewart in Lime Green and Black I love those colors.

I will have to try something like this for my home.

What is your favorite way to decorate branches?

Have a great day
