Virtual Launch Postponed

Good Morning,

I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, I'm getting ready to go to the pool and enjoy some BBQ and just relax. I'm sorry to announce that the Virtual Launch has been postponed. I am putting the finishing touches on the video and it has taken a little longer than expected. I will make another announcement soon regarding the new date.

But I do want to let you guys know that I will be uploaded some creation this weekend. I just got the Once Upon a Princess cartridge so I will be making a project using this cartridge. So stay tuned... You can also find me on Facebook as my page is now up there will be some projects posted there as well.. Just look for Adventures in Heels

MIA for a While (Sorry)

I just wanted to post a quick update. I have been MIA but I will be back really soon. I'm busy working on the Virtual Launch. I'm also busy working on some new projects that I will be sharing with you during the launch. The official virtual launch party is next Saturday beginning at 12 noon. I am so excited about the launch and all the projects. I can't wait also I wanted to inform you that there is also a prize giveaway so let all your friends know.... The Luanch party is going on all weekend and you can also sign up for a chance to win a pretty cool prize. So stay tuned and hope you can make it to the Party!!!!

A little bit of everything Annoucements, Projects to come etc..

Hello Ladies,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I was a little under the weather I've been fighting a cold and allergies for a about a week and it stinks. I really wanted to scrap this weekend but no worries there is a project started and should be finished this weekend. There are also a few things I will be posting during the week so stay tuned. Ok here is a little wrap up of the weekend.

While I was in no position to leave my house this weekend, we where going stir crazy and decided to venture out. I had spent all day saturday cleaning and organizing later I took a nap after my nap, I decided to do a little walking exercise. And later we ventured to this new place called YogurtLand OMG if you live in Pembroke Pines, Fl or the surronding areas I highly recommend you visit. This place is amazing all the yogurt and toppings you want and you pay by the ounce HEAVEN!!!. After my outing it was back home for night night time.

Sunday I felt much better and decided to take the kids to the pool. We spent a few hours at the pool and later we went back to YogurtLand for second go around. Did I mention we love this place LOL. Ok so after it was time for dinner (Mexican Night) my favorite but, must mention eventhough I am a great cook I managed to burn the refried beans. And to end the evening I started my offical Facebook page and watched Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters Season Finales.

Ok so did you love or hate the finales, I must admit I loved the finales but I wanted more!!!!

Announcement..... Saturday May 29 is the official launcing of Adventures in Heels. We will go live on Saturday for everyone! I will be haveing a mini party which will be posted on a video via YouTube as well as a few projects to show and so much more.... So please let everyone know and join me at my launch celebration

Mothers Day Cards Revealed

Good Morning ladies,

Sorry for the late posting of my Mother's Day Cards. As I explained before my camera crapped out and so did my laptop so frustrating. Never fear now I am back in buisness and ready for posting. Below you will find all the fab cards I made for the fabulous women in my life.

Sorry for some of the quality of the pics.

These cards where designed in two different ways trifold and regular A2. I used the ALL DRESSED UP paper pack if you don't have it get it. I love this paper it's perfect for making cards since the paper is so pretty not much embellishment is needed just some ribbons.

I wanted to take a moment and wish all the mommies out there a HAPPY BE-LATED MOTHER'S DAY!!.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while I have been busy creating I have so many cards to share with you. I am also going to unveil my new Note Card collection created by MEEEE! They are amazing. Atleast i think there amazing I just hope you all think so as well. Anyways I haven't had a chance to post the pics yet as my camera broke and I had to wait to get a replacement to take the pics. I hope to have all my cards ready to post end of week.

I am also excited abut so more upcoming projects I have that I am really happy about. And some major announcements I will be making very soon

Brag Book Altered for Co-Worker

Happy Friday to all, today I have an altered project. My co-worker Julie resigned 2 weeks ago she is leaving the company to go back to school. I am so exicted for her it's never to late to learn something new. So I was asked to make her a card for her going away, there wasn't much time and I was really busy. So I really couldn't make a card from scratch so instead I altered a project.
During my recent shopping sprees I bought a scrapbook kit filled with goodies in that pack I found this mini Brag Book. I'm not a fan of the colors but I decided to make it work. I completed this project late last night so forgive me if it's not great. I still think it's super cute and to the point. Here is my altered mini brag book.

It was quick and simple, I used some foam letters for the name. A cute blue plaid ribbon and a matching tag with a special message from me. I cut the pencil from the Potpourri cartiridge with my cricut.
For the inside of the card I just added some inspirational stickers and a 3d hooray sticker.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU AND LOVE CARD

Happy Cinco de Mayo, hope you all enjoy it and have a safe night.
Well National Scrapbooking Day was a total success while I didn't win any of the challenges. I got some positive feedback and that is what really matters to me.

For me who just began this blog and have only been crafting for a little bit it's awesome to get comments from other amazing crafters so THANK YOU to everyone who commented and also to all scrapbookers and cardmakers Thank you for inspiring me everyday. I hope you will continue to enjoy all my designs and continue to visit my blog.

Now on to the project made entirely of scraps. I created this card using left over scraps from previous projects and a new punch I got and couldn't wait to use. I started with a white blank card I added some scrap pink and green paper.The butterfly was leftover from Easter it was cut using the Home Decor Cartridge. I recently purchased a new punch which was shaped like LIPS and so I figured I could use it on this card. It's meant as a sentiment Butterfly Kisses. I added the love and a piece of green ribbon to complete this card.

NSD "MAY DAY" SPRING CARD

Hello,

Here is my final project for National Scrapbooking Day, We told to create a spring theme with flowers. So I chose to create this beautiful spring card. I had purchased some Heidi Grace rub ons and was dying to use them on some project and decided this was perfect. So I created the theme with the rub ones and added a flower border along with the word spring in chipboard letters.

I love this card it's one of my favorite yet!

NSD "TAKE SHAPE"

Hello,

Again today is NSD and I am participating in http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ challenges. I am so excited to be able to particpate. Also I encourage everyone to go over and visit "Robyn from The Pink Stamper" She is amazing. And now for my "Take Shape challenge" I don't really have alot of cartiridges so I chose to use Tags Bags boxes & More to create this cute little purse favor. I added pink ribbon and flowers to the from of the bag. And it's big enough to store a gift card.

NSD "Love my Color"

Ok for the LOVE my COLOR Challenge. Was all about making something using monochromatic. So I chose this pattern of cardstock that was all grey monochromatic. I cut the bride & groom, the rings and the box all from the same cardstock. I added some color with the red ribbon

NSD CHALLENGE "GETTING SCRAPPY"

The next project is Getting scrappy thgis was actually my first project but since I am uploaded while working I am just picking pics as I go.

For this challenge we had to use whatever scraps we had to create a project.
So I had cut these popcorn boxes out of some left over pink cardstock. I used the ribbon leftover from a previous project and the letter and flower are left over from my cousin's baby shower.

Nationals Scrapbooking DAY (NSD)

Hello,

Today is NSD (National Scrapbooking Day) and well today is the day we scrapbookers and card maker go full throttle in project creations. I am participating in serveral challenges today, my first challenegs as I am beginner but I figured I had to start someday. Later one day i will be uploaded all my challenge projects. Aside from challenge projects I have a few projects I need to complete. Mommy day cards and a Tag Album for a dear co-worker who resingned. So today I will be BUSY BUSY, BUSY!!!!.
